Skylog Pro V6.16 was released today. This release fixes a bug whereby use of the mobile records 'Find Records' feature could result in the loss of mobile records transferred to the main database. It is essential that users of the mobile apps install this update as soon as possible. The Skylog Pro V6.16 update may be installed by selecting Main Menu>Help>Check for Updates..

V1.11 and V3.20 updates for the Skylog Pro Android and Apple mobile apps respectively hav been released today. These updates require the Android Conduit V1.07 and Apple Conduit V3.06 which may be installed on your PC using the following downloads - as appropriate:

A V1.10 update for the Skylog Pro Android app has been released today. This update requires the Android Conduit V1.06 which may be installed on your PC using file InstAndroid110_P.EXE which can be downloaded from:

This update provides the final fixes for the issues introduced by the Android 5 upgrade. Please note that Android 5 introduced security changes which prevent the Skylog Pro app's ADB syncing method from working. See FAQ 20 for further information.

A V6.13 update for Skylog Pro has been released today. Please apply this update as soon as possible using Main Menu>Help>Check for Updates. This update contains a number of bug fixes and introduces the new Google Earth flight records great circle route and airport records displays. The update also provides the functionality required to enable the new Wi-Fi syncing option for Android app users which is being introduced in the forthcoming V1.08 Android app update.

The IOS7 update has, unfortunately, broken the Skylog Pro iPhone/iPad app - specifically entry of times in Flight, Sim and Duty Hours records. Hence, we strongly recommend that users of the app do not upgrade to IOS7 until app V3.16 is released - in, hopefully, early November. Apologies for this problem, which we are working hard to fix as soon as possible.

Update 26 October: All known IOS7 issues have now been fixed and we are just waiting for the new IOS7 icons. The updated app should be sent for Apple review early next week.

Update 1 November: The updated app has been submitted to Apple for review.

Update 14 November: V3.16 released to the Apple Store today.

This note is to advise customers still using Skylog Version 5 or earlier that these versions are obsolescent and are no longer supported. Hence, we highly recommend that users of these earlier versions upgrade to Version 6 (released over 5 years ago now) to continue having free support and to obtain the new features, improvements and bug fixes provided by this version.

Our recent development efforts have been focused on Skylog Pro apps for the increasingly popular Apple iPhone/iPad and Android devices. Hence, we will no longer be supporting our Palm and Windows Mobile apps as these devices are now, in our opinion, obsolescent - see FAQ15 for further information on the current state of play with our mobile apps. If you are still using one of these apps, we recommend upgrading to either an Apple or Android device and purchasing the relevant app from:

When you run the universal app on a small-screened device, you'll see the iPhone version and when you run the app on your iPad, you'll see the larger, custom designed, iPad-only version.

Version 6 of the popular Skylog and Skylog Pro pilot logbook products were released today. They now include full Vista compatibility and FREE Palm and Windows Mobile 6 interface software. The new SkyLog Pro V6 incorporates over forty enhancements and improvements over the previous version. These may be seen here.

This release resolves an issue introduced in V1.07 for customers with Regional Settings (eg, Danish) using the ',' decimal symbol. Microsoft has announced that Windows Vista will be broadly available as a stand-alone product or pre-installed on new PCs on January 30, 2007. Preliminary testing with Skylog V5 on the Vista RC1 (Release Candidate 1) indicates that Skylog is not fully compatible with the new OS. Please read FAQ7 (updated 29/01/2007) for further information.

Upgrades for the Skylog Pocket PC applications which fix the synchronisation problem with Pocket PCs running the new Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system (and some other issues) are now available for downloading from free Palm & Pocket PC upgrades.
